Performance; writing
A poetic prose text emerged while developing the performance and film work that form Trace. Two corresponding books, with embossed cover titles and texts loosely interweaving in a labyrinthine way, written while staying on Naxos. Shifting between different points of view, implicating the reader from first to second to third person. Matching pale blue paper was chosen to represent the central elements of water as psychological, mythical and physical purification, suggesting melancholy and a desire for transparency, to be free from painful memory and forgetting.

Location: Greek Island of Naxos and Oxford, UK

Writing from the series Trace, made in the 1990s, accompanying performance and documentation on film.
