Stabat Mater is an experimental Super-8mm film made in collaboration with family members in the 1990s, bringing two separate films together in an edit along the film’s length. A domestic kitchen: a woman, a mother, a man, a father. Mending a fractured, irreconcilable relationship; isolated in their own worlds, yet forced into the same frame.
The film’s uneven bulk inevitably got caught in the projector, most of which melted and caught fire.
