Capturing the physical, intangible forces of the weather, in this case the wind - a characteristic feature of local Suffolk landscapes, where industrial farming since the 1970s necessitates an absence of trees and hedgerows which exacerbates the ferociousness of winds without impediment.

A rural idyll is a theme the artist keeps returning to, concerned with the concept of ‘nature’, and questioning the perceived ‘rural idyll’.
